Activities

Saturday during the conference there will be a block of free time. Time to allow you to try something new like curling, or jewelry making, the opportunity to watch a couple of strong women in the movie The Devil Wears Prada, or have some fun bowling with a group of women. You might want to take this opportunity for some time just for yourself. See below for more details on our group and individual activities.

Group Activities

  • Paintin’ Pottery and Bead It
    Select a piece of pottery to paint to your own design. Your item will then be glazed and fired in their kiln. For a small fee your piece can be shipped to your home when it is finished. Rather make a keepsake? Create your own piece of jewelry from a vast array of jewels (instructors are available). All levels of beaders are welcome. Scheduled for 2:00pm - 4:00pm on Saturday. This activity is limited to 80 people.
  • Take me to the Movies!
    Join us for a private viewing of The Devil Wears Prada at the DePere Cinema. Your admission price includes a drink and popcorn. This activity is limited to 100 people.
  • Bowling
    Create your own team or let us place you on one. Join your fellow conference attendees for 2 hours of bowling at the Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley. The $6.00 fee includes bowling, shoes and a ball. This activity is limited to 60 people.
  • Curling
    Ready to try something new? Green Bay is one of the Olympic training centers for curling! They have opened up their doors to 48 of our butt-kicking women, to learn how to play this game. The $5.00 fee includes instruction, equipment rental and the opportunity to try out your new skills.
  • Wine Tasting Tour and Algoma Adventure
    Take a trip to the shores of Lake Michigan! Ride in comfort in a deluxe motor coach, enjoy a tour and tasting of up 7 wines at a turn of the century German-American Winery. Enjoy an afternoon of shopping, exploring art galleries and the charm of this Wisconsin town. Cost is $20.00 per person and includes transportation to and from Algoma, tour of the winery, and wine tasting. Coach leaves and 12:00 and returns at 5:30.
  • Butt-Kicking Women WITH GUNS
    Join us for a paintball tournament! This 3 hour tournament at Commando Paintball Sports includes 6 courses including a 3 story castle! Come be a different type of princess. Cost is $35.00/person and includes course fee, equipment rental, and 500 paintballs. This activity is limited to 100 people.
